Join First Aid of the Soul for a special evening of dialogue, music, art, and collective purpose dedicated to Ukraine’s resilience and future.
Voices for Ukraine will bring together internationally recognized leaders in human rights, global affairs, academia, mental health, humanitarian response, and the arts to explore the intersection of democracy, human dignity, cultural resilience, and Ukraine’s future.
Featured keynote speakers include Oleksandra Matviichuk, human rights lawyer and Head of the Center for Civil Liberties, the organization awarded the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize; Samantha Power, former Administrator of USAID and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations; and Serhii Plokhii, Professor of Ukrainian History at Harvard University and one of the world’s leading scholars of Ukrainian history and Eastern Europe.
The program will feature a keynote symposium, a curated concert with Ukrainian and local musicians, poetry, storytelling and interdisciplinary artistic performances, as well as a reception and silent art auction showcasing Ukrainian artists.
The evening will also mark the public launch of First Aid of the Soul’s Arts & Health Initiative in Ukraine, expanding the organization’s work at the intersection of mental health, the arts, and community wellbeing.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, First Aid of the Soul has worked with healthcare professionals, educators, artists, universities, and humanitarian organizations to strengthen trauma-informed mental health and psychosocial support across Ukraine. Its programs have reached more than 25,000 individuals in over 50 cities.
