Sky Philanthropy, Sky International Center, MAF & Center for the Study of Europe at Boston University and the Ukrainian Community proudly present Boston Annual Ukrainian Festival & Independence Day. The event will be held on Saturday, August 26th, from 2PM – 8PM on the grounds of BU Beach at 270 Bay State Rd, Boston, MA 02215.
Last year Ukrainian Festival drew over 3,000 people. This festival is a celebration of the rich cultural, intellectual and historical heritage of Ukraine, featuring a wide range of performances, exhibitions, crafts, vendors and events. In addition to celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine, the Boston Annual Ukrainian Festival also serves as a platform to support fundraising efforts for Ukraine’s ongoing struggle for freedom and protecting democracy in the world.
With ongoing russian aggression in Ukraine, many organizations and individuals are working tirelessly to support the country’s efforts towards freedom and victory. The festival provides a space for these efforts to be showcased and for visitors to learn more about russia’s war in Ukraine. Visitors to the festival can also contribute to fundraising efforts through various activities and events. From donating to local charities to attending benefit concerts and auctions, there are many opportunities to support victims of the war: men, women, children and seniors both in Ukraine and refugees in the US.
Please wear elements of Ukrainian national dress or Ukraine’s flag colors (blue and yellow); if you own Ukrainian national clothing, we encourage you to wear it!
Please make a donation to Ukraine by choosing one of the options in the Tickets menu:
General Admission – $15 donation
Children under 18 – free
Refugees from Ukraine – free with code “Ukraine”
We are proud to participate in Card to Culture program by MassCultural Council. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive free tickets to the annual Boston Ukrainian Festival.
