Don’t Close Your Eyes brings together the work of Ukrainian artists responding to the devastation of war and its lasting impact on individuals, communities, and cultural identity. Each artist offers a distinct perspective shaped by personal experience and artistic practice. While some works address Russia’s full-scale invasion of 2022, others reflect an engagement with the war that began in 2014.
Together, these works invite us to witness the human cost of war, reflect on the resilience of the Ukrainian people, and recognize the humanity we share. The exhibition asks us not to look away, but to bear witness, remember, and stand in solidarity with Ukraine.
