Holy Week and Pascha

We look forward with anticipation to Holy Week and Pascha. The schedule is as follows:

SUNDAY, April 9, 2023 PALM SUNDAY
ENTRY OF THE LORD INTO JERUSALEM
8:00 A.M. TO 9:30 A.M. Holy Confession
10:00 A.M. Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom
Palm Sunday Pussy willows will be distributed after the Liturgy.
• Paska Sale – Palm Sunday – Fr. Roman has graciously volunteered to bake Paskas for those wishing to purchase them. All Paskas will be of medium size and cost $15 each. Paskas will be on sale in the hall after the Liturgy. (First come, first served, limited quantity.)

7:00 P.M. Matins and Reading of the Twelve Gospels

FRIDAY, April 14, 2023 HOLY FRIDAY
7:00 P.M. Vespers and the Procession of the Holy Shroud

SATURDAY, April 15, 2023
BLESSING OF PASCHAL BASKETS 5 P.M. – OUTSIDE ON
THE WALKWAY AROUND THE CHURCH
The church will be open from 4:30 pm to 6 pm for those wishing to venerate the Holy Shroud If rain is in the forecast, we will use the hall.

SUNDAY, April 16, 2023
RESURRECTION OF CHRIST – PASCHA OF THE LORD
Services will begin at 7:00 A.M.
7 A.M. – Nocturns followed by the outside Procession of Pascha, then Paschal Matins and the Paschal Divine Liturgy followed by Blessing of Pascal Baskets in the Church Hall.

MONDAY, April 17, 2023 BRIGHT MONDAY 10:00 A.M. Divine Liturgy

SUNDAY, April 23, 2023 ST. THOMAS SUNDAY
10:00 A.M. Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom
12:30 P.M. Provody at Mt. Hope Cemetery – Father Roman will bless graves at Mount Hope Cemetery on St. Thomas Sunday after Liturgy. If you would like to have him bless a grave at another cemetery, please call him to make arrangements
