Learn to Paint Petrykivka Art
You don’t need to be an artist to attend this event! Everyone is welcome. All skills level!
The people of the village of Petrykivka, Ukraine decorate their living quarters, household belongings, and musical instruments with a style of ornamental painting that is characterized by fantastic flowers and other natural elements, based on careful observation of the local flora and fauna.
Enjoy complimentary Ukrainian refreshments as Artist Svitlana Rozghon provides instruction as well as the materials needed for you to make your own Petrykivka art. You will go home with a small wooden item with your own Petrykivka design!
Learn to Paint Petrykivka Art is co-sponsored by Granite State College and Manchester Community College, in collaboration with Dobro New England.
Admission is free for all students, faculty and staff of both colleges, but registration is required. Guests are welcome for a cost of $45, paid at the door.
Svitlana, our guest artist is the co-founder of Dobro New England, which provides humanitarian support for the people of Ukraine. The organization will have a display at the event about their work and current needs.
