DESCRIPTION:THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. JOSEPH invites you to Songs of Faith and 
 Resistance\nFeaturing the YEVSHAN UKRAINIAN VOCAL ENSEMBLE of CONNECTICUT\
 n\nThe concert will feature a variety of works from Ukraine's rich choral 
 tradition of liturgical hymns\, spirituals\, patriotic songs\, and folk ba
 llads\, performed in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.\n\nUkraine is 
 now in its third year of resistance against Russia's full-scale invasion t
 hat began on February 24\, 2022. Despite the long delay in the release of 
 US Congressional support\, the Ukrainian people continue to hold strong ag
 ainst Putin's campaign of genocide. Despite the brutality of Russian aggre
 ssion\, Ukrainians have remained resilient in building a thriving economy\
 , with innovative technologies and a powerful agricultural sector that con
 tinues to harvest and export millions of tons of grain to countries in Afr
 ica and the Middle East in their determination to maintain freedom and com
 bat global famine.\n\nAdmission to the concert is free\, but free will don
 ations will be gratefully accepted. Proceeds will benefit wounded soldiers
  and civilians undergoing treatment at the Ukrainian Catholic University's
