Dear Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine! 

Join us on SATURDAY, February 24, 2024, as we commemorate 2 years since Russia’s invasion and 10 years since the illegal annexation of Crimea. Together, let’s protect the light of freedom. Stay tuned for details! #StandWithUkraine

Schedule for the event:

3:45 PM – Starting at Parkman Bandstand on the Boston Common with the participation of political, religious, and community leaders. 

The event will begin with performances of Ukrainian and American anthems, a moment of silence to honor the memory of fallen defenders and civilians in the war, and proceed with the speech of politicians.

5:15 PM – Moment of light. Here you will be asked to turn on the flashlight on your mobile phones as a symbol of sharing and protecting the light of freedom.
