The program explores the distinctive musical worlds of Alma Mahler, Meri Davitashvili, Florence Price, Martha Redbone, Sylvia Filus, Lori Laitman, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Vivian Fung, Mary Ann Howe, Dina Pruzhansky, Olga Zaitseva-Herz, and Augusta Holmès, featuring settings of probing, pensive, and passionate texts.
Throughout the concert, the performers will share insights into the music, while biographical information will introduce audiences to the remarkable women behind the featured works.
