Main messages:

  • The Russian Federation is committing genocide in Ukraine, primarily regarding the forcible removal of children from Ukraine to the Russian Federation, which is considered as the sign of genocide**.
  • The number of illegally deported Ukrainian children to the territory of the Russian Federation may reach up to 300,000 (the Russian authorities claim to have deported 700,000). The ruscists started deporting Ukrainians kids back in 2014 – from the time of the occupation of Crimea and parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
  • The deportation of Ukrainian children carried out by the Russian authorities may contain elements of crimes against humanity. There have been numerous and repeated violations of children’s rights, in particular to their identity, to have a family, to education, to access to information, to rest, to leisure and participation in cultural life and art, as well as the rights to express opinion, conscience and religious views, to health, to freedom and safety.
  • Forced deportation became possible again since similar crimes committed in the USSR were not condemned at the time, and the perpetrators were never prosecuted at the international level. However, now the world community has taken this fact into account and the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and the Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova. Criminals must be convicted and punished!
  • The only way to stop deportations and repatriate the deported is for Ukraine to win this war and for russia to recognize its defeat and agree to an international mechanism to enforce the repatriation of all the deportees.
  • After the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, as a result of armed aggression, about 500 children were killed, and more than 1,000 Ukrainians kids were injured.
  • Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine has been going on for more than a year, and the war waged by the Kremlin against our country has been going on for 9 years. The enemy continues to attack, trying to take over Ukraine, to kill Ukrainians, both military and civilian, continues constant rocket and artillery shelling and destruction, continues to commit war crimes and terror against the Ukrainian civilian population. Our resources are depleting, we need to restore and multiply them.
  • Today, Ukraine is the “shield” of Europe and the entire civilized world. Our state and its soldiers are waging a war against the Russian aggressor and are defending not only themselves, but also all of Europe, the USA, Australia and all democratic countries from the onslaught of the invading forces of tyranny and dictatorship. If Ukraine does not stand up, these forces will attack other democratic countries.
  • Modern Russia, which only understands the language of force, can be stopped only by the victory of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield in Ukraine, so we urgently need modern Western weapons, as well as further strengthening of sanctions against the aggressor state;
  • As for the necessary weapons, Ukraine currently needs Western combat aircraft. Russia outnumbers our country in the air by 5-6 times, so Ukraine desperately needs multipurpose F-16 fighters that can hit air, ground, and surface targets. We need these planes to become a significant component of the overall air defense, and they will also help keep Russian aircraft away from Ukrainian borders and thereby protect cities and villages from bombing.
    At the same time, Ukraine, demanding weapons and increased sanctions against Russia, does not seek war; on the contrary, it seeks peace. The shortest way to peace is our victory.
  • The war of aggression waged by Russia against Ukraine violates the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of this organization. Paradoxically, the terrorist state, which unleashed the biggest war in Europe since the Second World War, and blackmails the whole world with the use of nuclear weapons, is not only in the UN, it is also one of the permanent members of its Security Council. Russia should be excluded from the Security Council of the United Nations and from the United Nations itself (due to the fact that it is there illegally since the Russian Federation never acquired the status of a United Nations member in accordance with the current Charter, procedural rules of the General Assembly and the Security Council of the United Nations).
